The ADBA will host its Annual General Membership meeting on Sunday, April 19 at 3:00 pm Central Time, via zoom.
A reminder that to have a vote at the Annual meeting, your festival or club must have a current paid membership. Each member club or festival is allowed one vote. Others may join the meeting but will not have a vote.
The following positions are up for election at this meeting: President, Secretary, and five at large board members.
President.
The President shall be the principal executive officer of the corporation, and, subject to the control of the Board of Directors, shall in general supervise and control all of the business and affairs of the corporation. He or she shall in general perform all duties incident to the office of President and such other duties as may be prescribed by the Bylaws or by the Board of Directors from time to time.
Secretary.
The Secretary shall: a) Keep the minutes of the Board of Directors meetings; b) See that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of these Bylaws or as required by law; c) Be custodian of the corporate records; d) In general perform all duties incident to the office of Secretary and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to him or her by the President or by the Board of Directors.
At-Large Members.
Three openings, each with 2-year terms, serving on the Board of Directors.
Two openings, each with 1-year terms, serving on the Board of Directors.
Please note:
- Nominations will be accepted through April 15.
- Please submit a brief bio of no more than 250 words for candidates via email to the 1st Vice President at: vi***********@****************at.com.
- ADBA bylaws require board members “be a member of the ADBA, live and/or work in the ADBA region and be a resident of the United States.”
- Each club or festival with a current ADBA membership will be allowed ONE vote.
