Equipment Fees – Boats & Gear
Dragon Boat fees are set at $700 per boat per race day. As an example an event would incur $1400 in boat fees for a one-day race, and $2800 for two days of racing (two boats). All Life jackets, paddles, race lane setup and tear down is included.
Transportation is on a per mile basis.
Equipment Fees – Usage
Paddles and Life Jackets take an inordinate amount of wear and tear during the season. A $100 fee is assessed to all festivals to help cover the cost of maintenance and new gear. More than $1000 in paddles alone are purchased by the ADBA annually.
